The Bachelor of Science in Computer Science focuses on concepts and techniques used in designing and developing advanced software systems. Explore the conceptual underpinnings of computer science–its fundamental algorithms, programming languages, operating systems, and software engineering techniques. Choose from a rich set of electives including data science, computer graphics, artificial intelligence, database systems, computer architecture, and computer networks. Courses stress hands-on learning by doing.

The Master of Science in Applied Mathematics program at Illinois Tech serves a dual purpose. Students applying to the Accelerated Master's Program must have completed at least 60 credit hours of applicable undergraduate study and at least one full semester (12 credit hours) at the university. Students must be at least one full-time semester (12 credit hours) away from undergraduate degree completion in order to apply.

Applicants are required to have a minimum GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale. Consult individual departments for specific minimum GPA requirements.
