Pre–Medical Studies (Minor)
The Minor in Pre-Medical Studies is intended for those who plan to apply to medical school and have been approved by the Pre-Medical Advisory Committee.
The Minor in Pre-Medical Studies includes courses that satisfy the prerequisite coursework of most medical schools, cover the majority of topics on the MCAT and other entrance examinations, and are designed to increase the competitiveness of an application.
Knowledge and skills are acquired through experiences in the lab and lecture courses. Topics explored include physiology, human biology, biochemistry, cell biology, organic chemistry, psychology, and statistics.
Discover new methods of solving real-world problems by creating new solutions with training in biology. This training not only will help while working within a team, but also will aid in team leadership.
