Structural Engineering (Minor)
Armour College of Engineering offers the Minor in Structural Engineering to provide students with a technical and competitive advantage in the structural engineering industry. This minor will better prepare students for careers in structural engineering and is usually taken in conjunction with the Bachelor of Architecture/Master of Civil Engineering dual degree program.
Students will understand material behavior for structural response, the structure and methods of analysis, and design structures made of steel and concrete.
Coursework may include such topics as structural design, concrete and foundation design, and steel design.
