Canvas, the Learning Management System (LMS) at Illinois Tech, stands out for its innovative features and user-friendly interface. It is thoughtfully crafted to improve the educational experience for both students and faculty alike. With its seamless navigation and a wide array of tools, Canvas facilitates engaging learning environments, efficient course management, and effective communication between instructors and learners, ultimately enhancing the overall educational process.

One of the objectives of the Center for Learning Innovation is to help instructors become better teachers by sharing the latest pedagogical techniques and up-to-date technologies with them. Whether it be through one-on-one collaboration or group sessions that promote community among our world-class faculty, we want to facilitate the connections that lead to better teaching practices. The center offers a variety of workshops to address teaching needs.

Partnering with CLI and representing all academic units across the campus, CLI Faculty Affiliates are champions for teaching in their units and are instrumental advocates for teaching innovation and best practices.

Student learning assessment provides feedback to faculty about how well the program curriculum is working to help students achieve the learning goals of the program.
