Khairy A. Tourk
- Professor of Economics (retired)
Khairy Tourk is professor at Illinois Institute of Technology’s Stuart School of Business. He teaches international business, economic theory, finance, and international trade. He has served as a consultant to the International Monetary Fund, the World Bank, the Agency for International Development and the U.S. Department of Commerce. Tourk is a senior advisor at the Adlai Stevenson Center on Democracy.
Tourk is a member of the China Group at the University of Â鶹APP and an associate member of the Center for East Asian Studies at the same university. He was a visiting professor at the University of Tokyo, Hitotsubashi University, and Nagoya University in Japan. In 2013-14 he was appointed as visiting chair professor of economics at Renmin University of China.
