Film Screening of "Arrival" and the Science of Extraterrestrial Life with Astrophysicist Emily Leiner
Join the Department of Physics, the Society of Physics Students, English Language Services, and Lewis College of Science and Letters for a special film screening of the 2016 science fiction film Arrival. The film will be followed by a short talk and a question-and-answer session with astrophysicist Emily Leiner on the science of the search for extraterrestrial life.
The film screening will begin at 6 p.m. on Friday, October 27, 2023 in Michael Paul Galvin Tower Auditorium. Attendees are invited to wear Halloween costumes to the event.
