Midwestern MOF Conference
Join Lewis College of Science and Letter’s Department of Chemistry for the Inaugural Midwestern MOF Conference (a part of the Kilpatrick Lecture Symposium) on Friday, September 13, 2024, in the Hermann Hall Conference Center.
As a part of the Kilpatrick Lecture Symposium that honors the legacy of professors Martin and Mary Kilpatrick who were innovative teachers and researchers at Illinois Tech, the Midwestern MOF Conference continues to engage new and engaging research and address real-world challenges in materials science, catalysis, sensing, pharmaceuticals, therapeutics, and sustainability
This full-day conference will include a Keynote Speech from Professor Susumu Kitagawa from Kyoto University, a poster session showcasing the amazing research done by high school, undergraduate, and graduate students. This conference provides a platform for researchers, scientists, professionals, students, and those interested in the field of chemistry and interdisciplinary discussions.
This conference will host two lecture sessions and one poster session. Our invited speakers for this year are Professor Hong-Cai Zhou, Professor Omar Farha, Professor Will Dichtel, Professor Shengqian Ma, Professor Randall Snurr, Professor Pingyun Feng, Professor Jing Li, and Professor Joseph Hupp.
