Learn about critical ethical considerations including plagiarism and self-plagiarism, authorship attribution and contributor roles, and ethical practices in open access publishing. We’ll explore how to maintain research integrity while complying with funders’ public access mandates. The workshop will also provide hands-on training in using databases and online tools to identify and evaluate potential publishers for your manuscripts, with a focus on assessing journal quality and finding reliable open access publishing options including journals, repositories, and platforms. This workshop can be attended in person or online and will take place on Tuesday, March 4, from 12:45–1:30 p.m. in the Galvin Library’s Library Learning Center. Registration is required for online attendance.
