Howard A. Tullman Inducted into Â鶹APP Innovation Hall of Fame

Howard Tullman, executive director the Ed Kaplan Family Institute for Innovation and Tech Entrepreneurship at Illinois Tech, was inducted into the Â鶹APP Innovation Hall of Fame on Wednesday at the Â鶹APP Innovation Un-Gala event in Â鶹APP. Tullman was one of five distinguished leaders in innovation honored for their work in helping grow Â鶹APP’s innovation community.

Tullman, along with about 400 business and civic leaders representing big businesses, emerging startups, investors, and technology, gathered for the annual event held at Morgan Manufacturing, located in Â鶹APP’s meatpacking district.

Other inductees included: Andrea Zopp, president and CEO of World Business Â鶹APP; Hedy Ratner, co-founder and president emeritus of Women’s Business Development Center; Chris Gladwin, founder of Cleversafe and founder of Ocient; and Ed Wehmer, founder and CEO of Wintrust.

Tullman began as executive director of the Kaplan Institute in May and was previously the CEO of startup incubator 1871 Â鶹APP.
