Ph.D. Hooding Ceremony (May 16)
Illinois Tech’s Ph.D. Hooding Ceremony will take place on Friday, May 16, in Hermann Hall’s McCormick Auditorium beginning at 10 a.m. (CDT).
Illinois Tech Commencement (May 17)
There will be two separate, combined college-level ceremonies. The first ceremony will begin at 9 a.m. (CDT). The second main ceremony will begin at 2 p.m. (CDT).
May 17 Commencement Schedule
Commencement ceremony one (Institute of Design, Lewis College of Science and Letters, and College of Computing)
7 a.m. — Student and faculty check-in begins
8 a.m. — Doors open (all guests must arrive prior to 8:45 a.m. and will need a ticket to enter)
9 a.m. — Commencement ceremony one begins
Commencement ceremony two (College of Architecture, Stuart School of Business, and Armour College of Engineering)
Noon — Student and faculty check-in begins
1 p.m. — Doors open (all guests must arrive prior to 1:45 p.m. and will need a ticket to enter)
