Employment-based Legal Permanent Residency (LPR), also known as a green card, permits foreign nationals and their dependents to permanently remain and be employed in the United States. Illinois Institute of Technology is pleased to sponsor foreign nationals, in essential positions, on nonimmigrant visas for Legal Permanent Residency status. Categories that require job offer letters are considered to be employer-sponsored petitions. As such, sponsorship must be supported by the employee’s hiring department and immediate supervisor.
