Lewis College of Science and Letters offers a variety of resources and opportunities to students both within the Lewis College community and across the university:
- The Department of Psychology is home to the M. A. and Lila Self Leadership Academy, a leadership-development program for all undergraduate students at Illinois Tech
- The Department of Humanities houses the Writing Center—a student resource providing one-on-one tutoring sessions for undergraduate and graduate students—and also hosts the university’s annual undergraduate writing contest
- Study away programs open to students across the university are offered each summer by faculty in the Department of Humanities and the Department of Social Sciences
