Students whose degrees are conferred by the offices of Undergraduate Academic Affairs and Graduate Academic Affairs, who have met their outstanding financial obligations to the university, and whose accounts do not have a Student Accounting hold are able to obtain their diplomas.

Digital Diplomas are Now Available!
Beginning with the Spring 2020 semester, official digital versions of diplomas will be available for alums. Graduates will receive an email to their Illinois Tech Hawk email account with instructions on how to electronically claim their diplomas.

How To Obtain Your Physical Diploma
Graduating Students
Graduating students are issued their diplomas shortly after the term's degree conferral date—see the Academic Calendar. Information regarding diploma issuance is communicated close to that date.
Students pending graduation should complete the prior to the term's degree conferral date. Note that Parchment is not able to ship diplomas without a completed Diploma Shipping Request Form on file.

Illinois Tech Alums
Illinois Tech alums who have not obtained their diploma should submit the . Alums may request a replacement diploma by submitting the .
Diploma Purge Policy
Diplomas that are returned or retained by the Office of the Registrar will be held for two years. Diplomas included in this policy are those that have been returned to sender, shipped to the Office of the Registrar for pickup, and those that have been held due to financial holds. Two years after the conferral date, any request for a diploma by alumni will require submission of the . Please note that diplomas will be updated to reflect the current college and authorized signatures.
